Police recovered three bags containing 600 bottles of syrup, which has sedative properties, and arrested the person, identified as Kamal Singh.
They claimed that the accused has revealed names of several people names who were involved in illegal trade of the syrup.
A case has been registered and investigation is underway, police added.
