One Forest dept staff injured in attack

One Forest department personnel was injured when wood cutters attacked them in Alipurduar district today, a Forest department official said.
Some people were illegally cutting trees in the Vulka Forest Range in Alipurduar district when some Forest department staff went to the spot and told them not to cut trees, the official said.
But the wood cutters attacked the Forest staff in which one personnel of the Forest department was injured. Two wood cutters were also injured when the Forest guards tried to catch them, the sources added.
