One killed, 17 injured as truck hits tempo

One person was killed and 17 others got injured when a tempo they were travelling in was hit by a truck at ITI crossing in Civil Lines area here this evening, police said.
While Hukum Singh (45) died on the spot, the 17 others were injured in the accident, they said.
Those injured were rushed to the hospital, where their condition was stated to be stable, police said.
No arrests have so far been made in this connection, they said, adding that, investigation is underway.
