One killed, 21 injured in Assam road mishap

The driver of a Light Commercial Vehicle (LCV) with 25 passengers lost control and overturned at Bihdia, killing one person on the spot and injuring 21 others.

The condition of ten of the injured was stated to be critical and they have been referred to Guwahati Medical College Hospital.

The dead has been identified as Marhum Ali and the vehicle was on its way from Goreswar in Baksa district to Baihata Balikuchi in Kamrup (Rural).
