One killed, 23 injured in bus-truck collision

A person was today killed and 23 others were injured when their mini bus collided head-on with a truck near Jawahar circle here, the police said.
The deceased has been identified as Noor Mohammed. He was a resident of Chaksu, a sub-urban town of Jaipur, the police said.
The injured were rushed to Jaipuria Hospital from where 19 were discharged. The four were referred to Sawai Man Singh Hospital, they said.
The mishap occurred when the members were on their way to receive their relatives returning from Haj Pilgrimage, they said.
The mini-bus and the truck have been impounded, police said adding that the drivers of both the vehicle have been arrested and investigation is on.
