One killed as bus overturns

One person was killed and two dozen others injured when a bus overturned in Bhinga area here, triggering protests by locals who torched the bus and blocked the road.
Police said today that Santosh Kumar (30) was killed when the bus carrying passengers overturned on his road-side shop on Bhinga-Bahraich route yesterday.
Agitated locals then torched the bus and staged a road block.
In a bid control the situation, police used mild force, they said.
Police said two dozen passengers sustained minor injuries and were being treated in the government hospital.
