One killed in fire mishap at cracker factory

A 35-year old worker was killed and several others were injured in a fire that broke out in a fireworks factory at Surarpatti in this district today.
Police said the mishap occurred when the workers were making crackers. Sabarimalayan of Pallapatti died on the spot while unspecified number of workers were injured.
The fire and rescue service personnel doused the fire.
