The car, on way from Mariani to Jorhat, hit the tree and turned turtle on the busy Jorhat-Mokokchung Road resulting in the death of one and injuring three others travelling in the car, they said.
The injured were rushed to the Jorhat Medical College Hospital here and from there one was moved to Guwahati after his condition deteriorated, they said.
