One missing in boat capsize

One person was missing
after a boat ferrying jute mill workers capsized in the Hoogly river at Budge Budge in South 24-Parganas district, the police said today.
All the passengers, except one, swam to safety when the boat carrying 13 workers of Caledonia jute mill capsized in the river at about 10.30 pm yesterday, the police said.
The jute mill workers were going home at Sankrail in Howrah district on the other side of the river after duty, the police said.
The boat set out from Betalkhali ghat and capsized in a whirlpool in the middle of the river.
