One shot at for selling fake rhino horn

A person was shot at and seriously injured by four miscreants, including three from Nagaland, for allegedly trying to sell them a fake rhino horn in Assam's Karbi Anglong district today.
A police spokesman here said a person, identified as Rafiqul Islam, attempted to sell a fake rhino horn to four persons at Dudu Colony in Lahorijan under Khotkhoti police station.
When the buyers, who included three from Nagaland, realised it was fake, they fired at Islam who sustained a bullet injury in the stomach.
The police arrested one person, identified as Moinuddin, while the three persons from Nagaland fled, the spokesman added.
