Punjab Industry and Commerce minister Sundar Shyam Arora said today that a one-time settlement scheme for sick industrial units will be rolled out soon.
Arora, who met industrialists and traders here today, said the backlog of VAT refund cases would be cleared by December this year.
He said that the government was committed to sort out all the problems of industrialists.
Arora said the working of the industry department would go on-line which would save time and money of industrialists.
He said he will take up the issue of giving relief to border industrial units with the Centre soon.
