The sharp reaction by Siddiqui comes a day after the BJP described the ongoing power tussle as a "high voltage drama" aimed at keeping the media and public attention away from the "failures" of Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav.
Siddiqui was speaking at a muslim conference in Kithor village here today. He accused both SP and BJP of instigating riots as part of a conspiracy for their political gains and said people will teach them a lesson in upcoming UP elections.
He also charged the ruling SP of ignoring the muslims in the state and not fulfilling the reservation promise made to them before elections. "You all need to get together and strengthen the BSP, without falling prey to SP's influence", he said.
"BSP is the only party which caters to the needs and interests of all sections of society", he said. He claimed the ongoing feud in SP is not a fight for socialism sake but mere nepotism where family members are fighting for division of blackmoney amassed by them.
Western Uttar Pradesh MLC Atar Singh Rao said the future belongs to BSP and the party is getting full-fledged support from the public. "The party is already getting support from dalits, christians and backward tribes," he said.
