The online monitoring system in the form of web portal 'My City' and its subsequent Facebook page were made operational from today.
"'My city' is a very useful online public monitoring system. This is the first of its kind service wherein you can know about the progress of your complaint," District Magistrate Roshan Jacob said.
Through this online portal, locals can track the progress of their grievances. Complaints raised with the concerned departments, can be uploaded with photos on the Facebook page, Jacob said.
The Portal will also help in solving traffic problems instantly. The jam-related complaints will be directly transferred to police control room number '100' with the traffic department taking appropriate action to ease the traffic flow, Jacob said.
