"For prompt registration of FIRs against cases of theft of electricity, the Vigilance Directorate of the Haryana Power Utilities has started an online system for submitting complaints under the Criminal Investigation Management System (CIMS)," according to an official release.
Devender Singh, Chairman and Managing Director of the power utilities (discoms) has issued directions to all the field officials to lodge FIRs on account of theft of electricity through web based online system within 24 hours of detection of theft, said the release.
