"Aakrosh (anger) is not against 'Notebandi' but against Nakebandi (blockade) of black money," the Minister of State for Minority Affairs (Independent Charge) and Parliamentary Affairs tweeted.

Criticising the Opposition's stand on demonetisation, Parliamentary Affairs Minister Ananth Kumar today said their anger should be against corruption and not against the PM.
"Instead of supporting Prime Minister Narendra Modi, they (Opposition) are working against it. The entire country is with the PM," Kumar said.
He further said,"Aakrosh (anger) should be against - corruption, fake notes and terrorism. But sad that Congress & the Opposition are thinking in perverse fashion."
Last week, Kumar reached out to the Opposition and had series of meetings with Congress, TMC and other party leaders.

Later, in his blog Union Minister Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi attacked Congress for allegedly engaging in "political drama" to create hurdle in "economic revolution" triggered by demonetisation.
"These people (Congress) don't have facts and logic, they are only engaged into baseless and illogical 'political drama' to create hurdle in this 'economic revolution' (demonetisation)," th Parliamentary Affairs Minister said.
He asked the opposition parties to support Centre in the fight against corruption.
"The Congress and its allies should support the Modi Government in the battle against corruption and black money to ensure development of the last person of the society, which had been deprived of light of development for the last several decades only due to corruption and black money."
Rather, Naqvi said, Congress "protected" those engaged in corruption. He listed scams such as Bofors, 2G, Commonwealth Games, Coal, Tatra truck, Adarsh flats, Telgi, oil for food and other scams to suggest "Congress had a close relation with corruption".
The Minister observed that despite promising to establish a system free of corruption and black money, most of the previous governments were engulfed in corruption.
But Modi, by forming a SIT on the issue of black money in his very first Cabinet meeting, gave a strong message that "corruption-free, development oriented" system is his priority, Naqvi said.
Naqvi claimed the every section of the society is with the Prime Minister in the "decisive battle" against corruption and black money.
"...(but) some political parties knowingly-unknowingly are becoming "partner of this political drama" of the Congress and behaving against the mood of the nation," he said.
The Minister said about 45 hours of Rajya Sabha have been wasted due to disruption by opposition after the on-going winter session began on November 16.
