Later, a question related to proposal of Rajiv Gandhi student accident ex-gratia scheme (currently on pilot basis being rolled out for implementation all over the state) being put before the cabinet for approval, was taken up.
Parliamentary Affairs Minister Harshvardhan Patil lamented the absence of Opposition members and said it will not be good to continue the proceedings without them.
Yesterday the House witnessed uproarious scenes after Opposition members took the government to task on the funds issue, raised by Sena legislator Ashish Jaiswal, forcing adjournment of the House for the day amid slogan shouting.
