The organisations which do not understand"the value of human talent and capital are bound to fail, President and CEO of Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM), Johnny C Taylor Jr said today.
"Technology is changing the way we work today. Today one can work from anywhere, and at any time as per their convenience," he said.
"Only those organisations that understand the value of human talent and human capital and innovate to attract the best talent will move forward, those who don't will face a difficult future," Taylor said in his address at the (SHRM) 4th HR Technology Conference here.
The conference brought together top HR industry experts, influencers, business experts and decision-makers, HR professionals and technology creators on a common platform.
CEO of SHRM India, Achal Khanna, while formally inaugurating the conference highlighted the need for businesses and HR teams supporting them to be at the forefront of HR tech innovations.
In his keynote address on 'Organisational Transformation,' Vineet Nayar, Founder Chairman, Sampark Foundation and former CEO of HCL Technologies, drew upon his experience of transforming HCL technologies to provide deep insights into transformation as a structured, multi-layered process.
