Over 15 lakh pilgrims visit Mudiya Poono fair

Amid tight security arrangements over 15 lakh pilgrims have performed parikrama of Goverdhan hillock during the ongoing five-day Mudiya Poono fair here.
Security has been beefed up for the fair, which started on July 18, SSP R K S Rathore said.
"For the first time 23 CCTV cameras have been installed at Mathura Junction station and 5 CCTV cameras at Goverdhan station," a railway official said.
Security has been beefed at Mathura Junction station with RPF and GRP personnel keeping a vigil in plain clothes, he said.
