The information was given by Social Welfare minister Sakina Itoo while replying to a question in the Legislative Council.
She said the total population of SCs in Rajouri as per 2001 census is 38,526.
No funds have been received from the Centre for 2011-12 under the scheme and during the current financial year an amount of Rs 18.90 lakh has been released.
In reply to another question, the minister said the total number of registered beneficiaries under the pension schemes in the state is 5,78,530.
