Over 3.48 lakh quintal sugar produced in Haryana

Cooperative sugar mills in Haryana have so far produced over 3.48 lakh quintal sugar by crushing 43.65 lakh quintal sugarcane.
Disclosing this here today, an official spokesman said that Cooperative Sugar Mill Shahabad has so far crushed the maximum amount of sugarcane at 8.60 lakh quintal and produced 80,600 quintal sugar, followed by Cooperative Sugar Mill Panipat which has crushed five lakh quintal sugarcane and produced 47,350 quintal sugar.
Similarly, Cooperative Sugar Mill Rohtak has crushed 5.31 lakh quintal sugarcane and has produced 36,350 quintal of sugar.
Cooperative Sugar Mill, Sonipat has crushed 4.37 lakh quintal of sugarcane and has produced 34,550 quintal of sugar and Cooperative Sugar Mill Gohana has crushed 4.43 lakh quintal sugarcane and produced 31,270 quintal of sugar.

The Cooperative Sugar Mill Karnal has crushed 3.89 lakh quintal sugarcane and produced 34,340 quintal of sugar. Cooperative Sugar Mill, Meham has crushed 4.14 lakh quintal sugarcane and produced 24,900 quintal of sugar.
Cooperative Sugar Mill, Jind has crushed 3.25 lakh quintal sugarcane and produced 25,775 quintal of sugar, Cooperative Sugar Mill Kaithal has crushed 2.53 lakh quintal sugarcane and produced 17,750 quintal of sugar and Cooperative Sugar Mill Palwal has crushed 2.13 lakh quintal sugarcane and produced 15,375 quintal of sugar.
Besides, HAFED Sugar Mill, Assandh has crushed over 3.63 lakh quintal of sugarcane and has produced 27,800 quintal of sugar, he added.
