Acting on a tip-off, police raided the house and seized the boxes containing the liquor, Jhabua Superintendent of Police (SP) Sanjay Tiwari said.
The raid was conducted late last night and continued into the early hours today, he said.
Besides the liquor, few boxes of locally made wine were also recovered.
After necessary investigations, a case will be registered in this regard, he added.
