Over 94 lakh Class XII pass job seekers registered till 2010

About 94.84 lakh job seekers, who have passed intermediate class, have registered with employment exchanges across the country till 2010, the government said today.
Replying to a question in the Rajya Sabha, Minister of State for Labour and Employment Kodikunnil Suresh said, as per National Sample Survey conducted during 2009-10, out of 1,000 unemployed youth in the age group of 15-29 years, 168 persons were unemployed with the education level of higher secondary on usual status basis.
