Overcast sky in Bengal

An overcast sky with occasional light to moderate rain marked the weather in West Bengal today as the day temperature remained within 35 degrees Celsius.
Sriniketan recorded the day's highest temperature at 34.6 degrees Celsius, while the highest rainfall of 82.6 mm was also recorded there in Birbhum district, the MeT department said.
Bankura and Asansol recorded rain of 33.7 mm and 33.3 mm respectively.
In Kolkata, the day temperature rose up to 33.1 degrees Celsius as parts of the city received light rainfall.
The MeT department has forecast a cloudy sky with the possibility of one or two spells of rain in some places of gangetic West Bengal.
