The interior ministry has issued orders to all four provinces and the Islamabad administration for taking into custody 6,777 suspects, majority of them from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, in the wake of last week's deadly Peshawar school attack that killed 150 people, mostly children.
According to the ministry's list, out of the 6,777 suspects, over 4,000 are from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, 1,000 from Sindh, 338 from Balochistan, 1,416 from Punjab and 23 from Islamabad, Geo News reported.
The suspects are likely to be arrested during the next 24 hours for having links with and facilitating terrorists.
