Foreign Office spokesperson Qazi Khalillulah rejected assertion made by journalist Seymour Hersh that Islamabad not only knew about the compound but also was on board over US mission to kill the al-Qaeda chief.
"Pakistan also did not know about presence of Osama bin Laden in Abbottabad," said Khalilullah.
Hersh published a report in the London Review of Books on Sunday, rejecting the US official version about killing of bin Laden who was eliminated in a raid by Navy Seals in 2011.
In its first reaction to the report today, Pakistan rejected the claims.
The US has also rejected Hersh's claim as "inaccurate" and "baseless".
