Pakistan condemns attack in Afghanistan

Pakistan today said eliminating the scourge of terrorism requires cooperation among states as it condemned a terror attack at a mosque in Afghanistan that killed more than 20 people.
A suicide bomber and a gunman killed more than 20 people at a Shiite mosque in Afghanistan's main western city of Herat yesterday.
"Pakistan conveys its deepest sympathies to the bereaved families of those who lost their lives and prayers for speedy recovery of the injured," Foreign Office said.
It said Pakistan reiterates its unequivocal condemnation of terrorism in all forms and manifestations.
"Eliminating the scourge of terrorism requires cooperation among states," it said.
