Pal also levelled other allegations and said he will write to Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav for a proper inquiry.
Khurshid has, hoewever, rejected allegations of any misuse of Trust funds.
Asked whether he finds Narendra Modi having prime minister's potential, Pal, who recently quit Congress and is said to be cosying up to BJP, said it would be decided by the people of the country and not by him.
He, however, said that in politics there are no permanent friends or foes and that he would seek reelection from his Domariyaganj seat.
