Panasonic launches new pdts in Rajasthan, eyes 30 pc jump in home appliance segment in FY'20

Ahead of the festive season, Panasonic introduced new models of washing machines, refrigerators and microwaves in Rajasthan market on Wednesday.

The company expects to increase its home appliance business by 30 per cent in the current financial year with these new models, an official said.

The company introduced more than 30 new models in the washing machine segment for Rajasthan market, three in refrigerators and two in microwave.

"With the new models, Panasonic has set a target of 30 per cent increase in home appliances category in FY 2019-20," Panasonic India Head of Sales Rajneesh Sharma said here.

During the festive season of Diwali, the company will come up with new offerings and is expected to do better in terms of sales and business across the country, including Rajasthan, he said.

Among the new washing machines, 23 semi-automatic machines in top load category are priced between Rs 11,600 to Rs 33,200, while the price range for front load category is Rs 30,500-67,000, Sharma said.

The company's new refrigerator models have 305 litres and 335 litres capacity. It has also launched a new four-door model in 550 litres.
