Panchayat Raj engineer held for taking bribe

An assistant engineer in Telangana's Panchayat Raj Department has been arrested for allegedly taking a bribe Rs 40,000.
Gollapalli Krishna, working in Tadwai Mandal, was nabbed by ACB officials at Hanamkonda in Warangal yesterday when he took the bribe from a complainant for doing an official favour, the Anti-Corruption Bureau said today.
