Panel for demarcation of green pockets in Shimla

Himachal Pradesh Government today decided to constitute a committee to mark the existing residential and commercial localities in the green pockets falling in Shimla Town Planning area.
The committee would verify the physical and revenue boundaries to identify the existing residential and commercial localities and submit its report by June 30, 2014 which will be further examined at the government level.
Tarun Shridhar, Principal Secretary-cum-Financial Commissioner, Revenue, R D Nazeem, Secretary, TCP, Sandeep Kumar, Director, TCP, Rajinder Chauhan, Town and Country Planner, Shimla and Satish Sharma, Assistant Town Planner would undertake the task.
