The panel in question was formed by the Apex Committee under Delhi Lt Governor Najeeb Jung.
Also, a detailed Flood Control Order, 2014, containing the action plan to deal with flood and laying down the roles and responsibilities of various agencies was released by MP Meenakshi Lekhi, who stressed on the need for the mapping of vulnerable areas and preparation of an action plan for those.
She also laid an emphasis on rainwater harvesting and creation of water reservoirs in Delhi.
The panel also reviewed the work on the desilting of drains undertaken by various agencies.
The availability and functioning of pumping stations and mobile pump sets to be utilised by MCD, NDMC, PWD, DDA and Delhi Jal Board to pump out water during monsoon was also reviewed.
