The sleuths raided a house in the Beltola area and recovered 144.2-kg of pseudophedrine tablets and the scales of the endangered animal, Customs department sources told PTI.
One person hailing from Mizoram living in the house and suspected to be a carrier of smugglers was taken into custody during the raid, the sources said.
The pseudoephedrine tablets, which were stored in plastic bags, had come from north India while the scales were from south India which is the habitat of pangolins.
Interrogation and investigations into the seizure is on.
Pseudoephedrine is a decongestant used to treat nasal and sinus congestion.
