Panjab University puts students under confusion

Panjab University (PU), which figures among the leading educational institution in the country, today put the students of a particular course in quandary after its publicity department made an error about results of particular programme.
Director Public Relations of university Vineet Punia issued a communication mentioning that the results entrance test MPhil and Phd programmes have been declared by the university.
However, few hours later he said the "Press Release was sent by mistake."
"The press release regarding the results of Entrance Test (M.Phil./Ph.D-2015) stands withdrawn," he said in a statement after students started looking for their positions on the website.

On being contacted he said,"I was told by university authorities that the result is out but later I was informed it will take another two days for results to come out."
Earlier, a statement issued by him said that Panjab University (PU), Chandigarh has declared the results of Entrance Test (M.Phil./Ph.D-2015).
"The candidates for M.Phil/Ph.D. Programme of Panjab University (PU), Chandigarh can check their results on PU website: www.Puchd.Ac.In.
