Panun Kashmir cautions BJP against joining hands with PDP

Cautioning the BJP against joining hands with PDP, an organisation for displaced Kashmiri Pandits today said if government formation in Jammu and Kashmir takes place on PDP's terms, it will prove to be a "deadly" embrace for the saffron party.
Panun Kashmir said that a "sinister political maneuver" is afoot to seek political and official legitimacy to "soft- secessionism" in the state through the process of government formation.
"All patriotic citizens of the state of Jammu and Kashmir out rightly disapprove the entire framework of conditions put forward by PDP which is guiding its efforts for the formation of a new government in the state," Panun Kashmir convener Agnishekhar told reporters here.

He accused the regional political parties of "hoodwinking" the national parties "by making them believe that soft- secessionism can be a tactical ploy to derail separatism in the state".
PDP and BJP are in talks over government formation in the state ever since the results of the assembly elections on December 23 threw up a hung Assembly.
"This embrace has already proved to be suicidal for the Congress party in the state. Panun Kashmir has no doubt that if the government formation takes place on the terms and conditions enunciated by PDP it will prove to be a deadly embrace for BJP as well" he said.
