"Panun Kashmir extends its full support to candidates who got BJP's mandate to contest the Assembly elections in the state. We appeal to the people in general and Kashmiri Pandits in particular to support them," Panun Kashmir president Ashwani Kumar Chrungoo said in a statement here today.
He said Panun Kashmir wants BJP to focus on issues pertaining to the plight of Kashmiri Pandits and dwell upon measures aimed at the welfare of the displaced community.
"Kashmiri Pandit community has high expectations from the new dispensation at the Center and a change in the government under the banner of BJP will usher a positive atmosphere for the betterment in the state," Virender Raina, national spokesperson of Panun Kashmir, said.
