Paper, cardboard godown gutted in fire

A paper and cardboard godown located in Sanganer here, was gutted in a devastating fire this forenoon, a fire official said.
Private factory Supreme Paper's godown, packed with finished cardboard and papers worths lakhs of rupees were engulfed in the fire on Ramsinghpura Road in this sub-urban Jaipur town around 1100 hrs, a senior fire official told PTI today.
Eight fire tenders of Jaipur Municipal Corporation were rushed to the spot to douse the fire which is still blazing, the officer said.
No person was present in the vicinity of the factory, he said. The exact loss of the goods would be ascertained once the fire was extinguished, he said.
