As soon as Lok Sabha met for the day, several anti-Telangana members trooped into the Well holding placards and shouting slogans like 'Save Andhra'.
They were joined by members from erstwhile UPA ally DMK, who were demanding "justice" for Tamil fishermen languishing in Sri Lankan jails.
Some SP members also rushed to the Well but their demand could not be heard in the din.
Amid pandemonium Speaker Meira Kumar adjourned the House till noon.
Similar scenes were witnessed in the Rajya Sabha.
Chairman Hamid Ansari agreed and even asked Ravi Shankar Prasad (BJP) to speak on the issue.
But, AIADMK members rushed to Well demanding discussion on the arrest of Tamil fishermen by Srilankan authorities.
TDP members also came rushing to the Well opposing bifurcation of Andhra Pradesh.
Amid din, Ansari adjourned the House till noon, saying the members should respect the dead.
