Though the minimum temperature dipped three notches below average to settle at 6.2 deg C, the maximum temperature rose three degrees above normal at 24.4 deg C, the MeT office said.
The city witnessed cloudy sky in the later part of the day.
Yesterday, the minimum and maximum was recorded at 6.7 deg C and 23.3 deg C, respectively.
The MeT office has predicted a mist or shallow fog in the morning tomorrow and the sky is likely to remain cloudy. The maximum and minimum temperatures is expected to remain around 23 and eight deg C, respectively.
