According to MeT office, chief amount of rainfall recorded in Jhansi and Agra two cms each while in Bahraich, Sultanpur, Fatehgarh, Hardoi, Orai and Hamirpur one cm each.
Night temperatures rose markedly in Varanasi, Allahabad while appreciably rose in Gorakhpur, Faizabad, Lucknow, Moradabad, Meerut and changed little in the remaining divisions of the state, it said.
They were markedly above normal in Varanasi, Faizabad, appreciably above normal in Allahabad, Kanpur, Lucknow, above normal in Gorakhpur, Agra and normal in the remaining divisions of the state, said the MeT office.
The MeT office, in a forecast, said rain or thundershowers would occur at isolated places over east Uttar Pradesh and weather would be mainly dry over west parts in the state tomorrow.
