Paryatan Parv, a nation-wide celebration of tourism, began on October 5 and will culminate on October 25.
The last three days of the event is being celebrated in Delhi where state governments, Union ministries and stakeholders have come together on the Rajpath lawns to showcase their wares.
While Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh was the chief guest at the event yesterday, Finance Minister, Arun Jaitley will be the guest of honour tomorrow.
He also visited some stalls and encouraged craftsmen exhibiting their products.
In the afternoon, cultural events were held and artistes from different states and union territories showcased the local dance forms.
Gadkari said his department was working in tandem with the tourism ministry to promote tourism across the country.
