The man belonging to Uppala in Kasaragod district in Kerala had been working in Dubai as the manager of an institution for the last nine years, police said.
A dog squad and a bomb detection squad were brought to the spot, police said, adding, the nature of the liquid was yet to be ascertained.
Police Commissioner R Hitendar, DCP (Crime) Vishnuvardhan and DCP (Law and Order)K V Jagadish reached the airport on getting the information, they said.
