On getting tip off, Senior Superintendent of Police Jitender Rana constituted police team which arrested 26 persons for indulging in gambling, a release from SSP office said.
Nine persons have been arrested from Budha colony police station area in the town while 7 were nabbed from S K Puri police station area, the release said.
Ten persons were arrested from Punpun police station area of the district, it said.
A total cash of Rs 56,242 was recovered from the arrested, it added.
Meanwhile, the Patna district police during a special anti race driving caught 3609 bikers during month of September in Patna district and recovered a penalty of Rs 8,35,800 from them, Rana said in the release.
