Pending land cases will be covered in 6 months: HP govt

Himachal Pradesh government today said that all the pending cases relating land demarcation and division in the state will be covered in the next six months.
Himachal's Health and Family Welfare Minister Koul Singh Thakur stated this while replying to the question of BJP MLAs Inder Singh, Vijay Agnihotri and Rikhi Ram Koundal in the state assembly here.
The minister said that 564 posts of revenue officials were lying vacant during the previous BJP-led government, and now Congress dispensation is imparting training to 768 new candidates.
He said the revenue department has re-employed few officers for two years till the joining of the staff that is undergoing training.
