The drive was launched jointly by Railway Magistrate Sunil Singh, Railway Area Manager N P Singh and Harvinder Kumar, Coordinator of Nirankari mission who cleaned platform number one of Mathura junction railway station.
After the drive, the platforms and the drinking water area ware a different look as not only litter was cleared but stains of Gutka were also removed.
"The group had cleaned the station. The efforts of activists of Nirankari mission lead by Baba Hardeo Singh, today was praiseworthy as they braved cold breeze to give a face-lift to station area," said Area Manager, North Central Railway, N P Singh.
"The passengers should take a lesson from these activists and cooperate in maintaining the station clean," said Railway Magistrate Sunil Singh.
