BJP national spokesperson M J Akbar also alleged that all evidence in the Saradha scam was coming from TMC supremo Mamata Banerjee's colleagues in the party themselves.
"The people of Bengal want jobs. Instead, they are being looted. Bengal wants progress. Instead, they are witnessing dacoity," Akbar told reporters on the sidelines of the BJP's intellectual rally in Kolkata against Saradha scam.
"For 35 years there was a government in Bengal which did 'Laal Salaam'. Today there is a government which does 'Saradha Salaam', 'Scam Salaam'. This is an insult to the people of Bengal," he said.
"All the evidence which is coming, is from the colleagues of Mamata Banerjee," he said.
The CBI, which is probing Saradha scam, has arrested eight persons in connection with the case so far.
