However, copra edible prices declined due to reduced demand from stockist as well as retailers.
Black pepper gained by Rs 7/5 per kg to Rs 425/455 from last Friday's closing level of Rs 418/450.
Ginger bleached climbed by Rs 10 per kg to Rs 110 from Rs 100 and ginger unbleached also looked up by Rs 3 per kg to Rs 128 from Rs 125.
However, copra edible Mumbai slipped by Rs 100 per quintal to Rs 5,500 as against Rs 5,600 previously.

Black pepper (per kg) 435/465 (425/450), ginger bleached (per kg) 110 (100), ginger unbleached (per kg) 128 (125), copra office Alapuzha (per quintal) 4,350 (4,350), copra office Kozhikode (per quintal) 4,250 (4,250), copra Rajapur Mumbai (per quintal) 6,800 (6,800) and copra edible Mumbai (per quintal) 5,500 (5,600).
