PESB recommends I S Jha's name for PowerGrid CMD's post

Government head-hunter PESB today recommended I S Jha's name for the post of Chairman and Managing Director in Power Grid Corporation.
Jha has been recommended by Public Enterprises Selection Board (PESB) from a list of eight contenders, according to information on PESB website.
At present, Jha is the Director (Projects) in Power Grid Corporation of India (PGCIL).
Jha, 55, is an Electrical Engineer from NIT, Jamshedpur.
He was appointed as a Director on Power Grid Board in September, 2009.
