Pfizer Q3 net profit zooms over two-fold to Rs 40.34 crore

Drug firm Pfizer today reported over two-fold jump in its net profit to Rs 40.34 crore for the quarter ended December 2015 on account of robust sales.
The company had posted a net profit of Rs 18.37 crore for the corresponding period of the previous fiscal, Pfizer said in a BSE filing.
Total income from operations of the company also rose to Rs 505.64 crore for the quarter under review as against Rs 474.18 crore for the same period a year ago.
Shares of Pfizer Ltd today closed 0.16 per cent down at Rs 2,228.70 per scrip on BSE.
