The girl, who was crippled and had started working in the garment factory in Tronica City only a few days ago, was found hanging in her house in Ashok Vihar area yesterday, police said today.
The victim's family has filed a police complaint alleging that a night before she had told them that a contractor in the factory had took her to a closed unit and raped her, police said.
A case has been registered against the contractor, but he was yet to be arrested.
