A PIL has been filed in the Allahabad High Court seeking directions for quashing the probe report of the one-member Vishnu Sahai Judicial Commission on Muzaffarnagar riots.

The PIL is likely to come up for hearing tomorrow.

The PIL has been filed by a local journalist as well as the general secretary of All India Muslim Council, Allama Zamir Naqvi.

According to the petitioner's counsel Ashok Pandey, it is alleged that being a former member of Uttar Pradesh State Human Rights Commission, Sahai was not eligible for being appointed on any post by the Centre and the state government.
